Developers will receive feedback regularly through two different strategies and mediums
Informal Feedback (Most Frequent)
Informal feedback is given on a daily basis through virtual stand-ups and Whatsapp. This feedback is given by the team lead and is meant to be a quick and easy way to keep the developer informed about their progress and performance. Informal feedback will cover:
- Progress on tasks
- Quality of work
- PR Merges and Reviews
- Code Reviews
Formal Feedback (Less Frequent)
Formal feedback is given on a monthly / quarterly basis through a one-on-one meeting with the team lead or through performance review docs. This feedback is meant to be more in-depth and will cover the following: Formal feedback will cover:
- Milestone achievements
- Performance against KPIs
- Areas of improvement
- Personal development goals
