Standup Meetings
Stand-up meetings are a brief, daily VIRTUAL meeting designed to keep the team synchronized and identify any roadblocks. They are meant to be short and focused, typically lasting no more than 15 minutes per person. Our team uses stand-ups to ensure everyone is on the same page and to facilitate quick problem-solving.
How to Run a Stand-up Meeting
What did I do yesterday?
Briefly describe the tasks you completed the previous day. Be concise and focus on relevant points. Be well prepared to avoid using up your entire slot.
What will I do today?
Outline your planned tasks for the current day. Again keep it brief and focused.
Are there any roadblocks?
Identify any obstacles or issues preventing you from making progress on your given tasks. This is VERY CRUCIAL as it allows the team to offer support and reshuffle our priorities if needed.
